Keywords: Care & Kindness

What are you really hungry for?

Divine Nurture invites you to explore your relationship with care, nourishment and receiving love. When nurturance was absent, inconsistent or conditional, we may learn to neglect our needs, criticise ourselves, over-give to others or seek comfort and security in ways that never quite satisfy the deeper hunger.

Created in a flourishing vegetable garden, surrounded by birds feeding young, building nests and tending their offspring, this essence offers a beautiful picture of nurturance — providing the conditions that genuinely support life and growth.

Our relationship with food can sometimes reveal another layer. Food may become associated with comfort, scarcity, safety, control or emotional soothing. Rather than judging the behaviour, Divine Nurture invites curiosity: What has food or nourishment come to mean to me? What might I actually be needing?

True nurturance is not indulgence or rescuing ourselves from every discomfort. It is learning to listen to our genuine needs with kindness and respond in ways that support our emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.

Invitation: Where might you still be depriving yourself of the care you need? Can you receive without guilt? When you reach for comfort, what are you truly hungry for — food, rest, safety, tenderness, connection, emotional expression or love?
