Ceremonial Essence – six pointed star on geographical grid line connecting the essences to Law, Finance, Government, Education, Religion and Health
Keywords: Personal responsibility
What becomes possible when you recognise that the next step is yours to take?
Divine Sovereignty invites you to embrace the freedom and responsibility of directing your own life. Free will gives us the capacity to choose, but sovereignty asks us to become conscious of how we use that freedom and the consequences our choices create.
Created ceremonially within a six-pointed star representing major systems of human life — including law, finance, government, education, religion and health — this essence explores the relationship between individual responsibility and the structures that influence our lives. Systems may guide, teach or support us, but they cannot make our loving choices for us.
The staircase associated with Divine Sovereignty became a powerful symbol of this journey. We can remain at the bottom waiting for God, another person, an institution or even an essence to change our lives — or recognise that the capacity to take the next step has been given to us. God may provide love, guidance and a pathway, but free will means the choice to walk it remains our own.
Divine Sovereignty reminds us that true self-governance is not “I can do whatever I want.” It is the willingness to seek what is loving and true, take responsibility for our choices and participate actively in creating the life we desire.
