Keywords: Law & Boundaries

What does love require when something has gone wrong?

Divine Justice invites you to explore the loving relationship between truth, responsibility and consequence. Rather than punishment or blame, justice asks us to recognise what has happened, understand its effects and take appropriate action to correct, repair or change what we can.

Created upon a fallen tree being steadily returned to the earth by nature’s own systems, this essence offers a beautiful picture of law in action. Nothing is wasted or abandoned — even the tree’s ending has been provided for within the greater cycle of life.

Divine Justice reminds us that our choices and creations also have consequences. Whether creating a product, relationship, business or way of living, love asks us to consider not only what benefits us now, but how our choices may affect others, the environment and those who come after us.

When harm has occurred, justice can work in both directions. We may need to acknowledge what was done to us, speak truth and establish loving boundaries; or courageously recognise harm we have caused, take responsibility and make amends. Shame and punishment do not repair harm — sincere correction and change can.

Invitation: What are the consequences of your choices? Is there something you need to acknowledge, correct or repair? Where might a loving boundary be needed? What would love require now?
