This loving botanical sings: “Reach out and touch somebody’s hand, make this world a better place, if you can.” Love comes easily to some, while others may struggle due to emotional wounds that cloud their perception. We may isolate ourselves or become self-absorbed as a way to protect ourselves from further harm. These are defence mechanisms that keep us guarded and distant from others. However, as we acknowledge and release the pain caused by past mistreatment, we begin to cultivate inner support and a sense of safety. Gradually, we find the courage to stand in our own worth. Over time,
our natural desire to connect with others in loving ways is restored. New opportunities arise, allowing us to write new stories filled with love and genuine connections.
